This process is believed to adjust and alter the body's energy flow into healthier patterns, and is used to treat a wide variety of illnesses and health conditions.
The goal of our acupuncture treatments are to restore and balance these meridians to allow your body to function normally and return to health naturally. We utilize a variety of treatment options including acupuncture with needles, moxibustion, cupping, electric stimulation, auriculotherapy, acupressure, Gua Sha (dermal friction), Infra-Red (heat lamps), Chinese herbs, therapeutic exercises and dietary counseling based on the fundamentals of Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Brock Martin graduated from Camden Central High School in 2003. He attended Bethel College from 2003-2006 where he was a member of the Men’s Basketball team. He completed his doctoral degree in 2010 from Logan College of Chiropractic. In 2018 he completed the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician program allowing him to join a group of less than 5% of his chiropractic peers with this certification.

Dr. Brock has been named the “2016 Rising Chiropractor of the Year” for the Tennessee Chiropractic Association as well as a “40 people under 40” award winner from the Jackson Sun. He is also a 2016 graduate of the WestStar Leadership Program from the University Tennessee at Martin and the Delta Leadership Institute’s Executive Academy. In 2016 he was appointed to the Board of Trustees for Bethel University.

Dr. Martin stays heavily involved within the local community and on a state level including serving the Huntingdon Industrial Board, the Carroll County United Way Board, and current President of the Huntingdon Lions Club. He serves on numerous committees in health care including the Carroll County Health Council, Chairman of the Opioid Task force for the Tennessee Chiropractic Association and member of the Government Relations Committee for them as well. He has Staff Privileges at Henry County Medical Center and is an Adjunct Professor for Logan University. Dr. Brock is the current President of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association which serves as the governing voice for the 2,100 physicians across the state.

Dr. Krista Martin grew up on a farm in Hillsboro, Indiana and graduated from Fountain Central High School in 2004. She attended Purdue University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services from the University of Southern Indiana in 2007. Dr. Krista earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri in 2010 and was awarded the Senior Research Award and Intern Assistant Award.

Dr. Krista has advanced certifications specializing in the Webster Technique for prenatal care and is a Certified Pre and Postnatal coach. Dr. Krista also holds certification for acupuncture in the state of Tennessee which allows her to treat variety of conditions. Dr. Krista is well known for her high success in helping women’s health issues and fertility.

Aside from clinical care, she serves as a clinical peer reviewer and is a records review specialist for several law firms dealing with chiropractic cases. She is a member and past president of the McKenzie Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow.

Dr. Shelley Simpson is a native of Kenton, TN. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2015. During her time at UTM, she was a Therapy Technician at Cane Creek Rehabilitation where she performed rehabilitation exercises and functional movements with patients. This hands-on care inspired her to pursue a career in Chiropractic with a focus on mobility. Dr. Shelley attended Logan College of Chiropractic and was awarded the Service Award for being actively involved as the Student Government President, Mentor and Peer Tutor for Anatomy, Physiology, and Neuroanatomy.

Dr. Shelley is trained in manual chiropractic techniques but also gentle treatments such as Activator, Flexion/Distraction and Logan Basic Technique. Dr. Shelley is also trained in SFMA (selective functional movement assessment). This is a movement-based diagnostic system that is designed to find the underlying cause of pain by breaking down dysfunctional movement patterns. This is a technique commonly used with athletes of all ages.

Dr. Shelley’s true passion is in pediatric chiropractic care. While at Logan University, Dr. Shelley was one of only fifty students that had the opportunity to intern with Dr. Muriel Perillat, a nationally recognized Pediatric Chiropractor for over 41 years. Through this mentorship, Dr. Shelley learned advanced pediatric treatment techniques including cranial therapies, manual techniques and reflex assessment. Dr. Shelley’s advanced training in pediatric care allows her to help children with colic, reflux, ear infections and sleep issues through natural treatments.
